The 2011 State Convention of the Washington Rural Letter Carriers' Association was held
June 27-29, 2011 at the Inn at Gig Harbor in charming Gig Harbor, Washington.

Informational Seminar
There was a free Informational Seminar for all Union members on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.The meeting included discussion/information on topics of a concern to Rural Carriers and USPS employees as well as the latest information on current issues.
Sunday Social
Sunday, June 26, 2011 also featured our Sunday Social from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.The 2011 WARLCA State Convention began at
8:30 AM on Monday, June 27, 2011
Meeting for Those Attending for the 1st Time
There was a meeting on Monday, June 27, at 8:00 AM for those attending a State Convention for the 1st time. At this meeting the attendees learned what to expect during the business sessions of the State Convention, how to participate, and had an opportunity to ask questions about the Convention.County Officer Training
Monday evening also featured a training (with dinner) for all newly elected County Officers. The dinner began at 6:00 PM with the training immediately after dinner. All newly elected County Officers were encouraged to attend!On Tuesday and Wednesday we conducted the business of the State addressing constitution changes, resolutions, and concluding with the election of officers.
Annual Convention Banquet
Tuesday evening was filled with food, fun, laughter, and a VERY special presentation by District 4 Representative Ed Ogdon at the annual Convention Banquet/Social.Top of Page Home Back to Calendar of Events
