The 2009 State Convention of the Washington Rural Letter Carriers' Association was held
June 22-24, 2009
at the beautiful Red Lion at the Park, in Spokane, Washington.
Enhancement Training
There was a Steward Enhancement Training on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM for certified local stewards.2010 National Convention
Committee Chair Meeting
There was also a meeting on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM for the 2010 National Convention Committee Chairs.
All those who are serving as Committee Chairpersons for the various 2010 National Convention committees were encouraged to attend.Sunday Social
Sunday, June 21, 2009 also featured our Sunday Social at Riverfront Park from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.All were welcomed for Food and Fun in the Park.

Meeting for Those Attending for the 1st Time
There was a meeting on Monday, June 22, at 8:00 AM for those who were attending a State Convention for the 1st time. At this meeting the attendees learned what to expect during the business sessions of the State Convention, how to participate, and had an opportunity to ask any questions they had about the Convention.County Officer Training
Monday evening featured a training (with dinner) for all newly elected County Officers. The dinner began at 6:00 PM with the training immediately after dinner. All newly elected County Officers were encouraged to attend!
Annual Convention Banquet
